Places to see- Colombo
While Sri Lanka isn’t a very big country, there are quite a few places of interest. Most international tourist arrives at Colombo, which is the commercial capital and the largest city. If you move 20 minutes away from the city, you will reach Mount Lavinia, which is a pretty decent place for a drink and some great food for all kinds of budget.

For those who love weather, Nuwara Eliya is the place to be with the coolest climate and great tea plantations. Anuradhapura is also a popular choice among tourists for the ancient ruins of capitals, which have been partially restored. Then there are places like Ratnapura and Jaffna, which are equally good.
